Common Outdoor Jobs
Most outdoor work is pool equipment, alfresco upgrades, or people finally getting power to the shed. I also do a lot of garden lighting when landscaping goes in.
Ellenbrook Backyards

Pool & Outdoor FAQs
Do outdoor power points need to be special?
Yes. Outdoor GPOs must be weatherproof rated (IP53 minimum) and protected by an RCD. I only install compliant outdoor equipment — no indoor GPOs bodged into outdoor locations.
Can my switchboard handle a pool pump?
Most newer Ellenbrook switchboards can handle a standard pool pump, but larger pumps or adding multiple pool equipment items might need a dedicated circuit. I'll check capacity before starting.
What about pool lighting regulations?
Pool and spa lighting has specific safety requirements around voltage, transformer placement, and bonding. I install compliant systems that meet WA electrical and pool safety standards.
