Ceiling Fans, Exhaust Fans & Heat Lamps — Ellenbrook
Ceiling fans for summer, exhaust fans for bathrooms, heat lamps for winter mornings. I install them properly — no wobbly fans or exhaust that goes nowhere.

Common Fan Jobs
Most fan work is either adding ceiling fans to bedrooms (especially before summer) or replacing noisy bathroom exhaust fans. I also do a lot of alfresco fan installations.
Ellenbrook Summers
A lot of newer Ellenbrook homes came with downlights but no ceiling fans. With summer aircon costs going up, adding ceiling fans to bedrooms and living areas makes a real difference.
I can usually add fans to existing light points, or run new circuits if needed for the bigger outdoor fans.
Ceiling Fan FAQs
Can I install a ceiling fan where I have a light?
Often yes, if the ceiling structure can support a fan and the wiring is suitable. I'll check the mounting point and circuit before confirming. Some older wiring needs upgrading to handle fan load.
Do bathroom exhaust fans need to duct outside?
Yes. Exhausting into the roof cavity causes moisture problems and can lead to mould. I install proper ducting to external vents — it's the only way to do it right.
What's the difference between AC and DC ceiling fans?
DC fans are more energy efficient, quieter, and often have more speed settings. They cost more upfront but use about 70% less power. For bedrooms especially, DC fans are worth the extra.
